Rezpiral Series 8 Barril de Berta Vazquez Agave Spirit

I'm a sucker for anything Berta Vasquez does.  And I feel like you should be too!

 

Rezpiral Barril from Berta Vasquez was produced using maguey Barril, distilled in the community of San Baltazar Chichicapam, Oaxaca.  The maguey were milled by tahona, fermented in cypress tanks, and double distilled in copper alambique stills.

 

Harvesting: Maguey Barril agave carefully selected from local lands

Milling: Traditional tahona method, crushing the agave with stone wheels

Fermentation: Natural fermentation in distinctive cypress tanks

Distillation: Precision-crafted through double distillation in copper alambique stills
