Penelope Four Grain Straight Bourbon

Penelope Bourbon was created in 2018 by lifelong friends Mike Paladini and Danny Polise. The name is a nod to Mike’s daughter Penelope. The bourbon is a blend of wheat and rye bourbon mashbills, which are aged separately before being blended and bottled. The bourbon is aged in barrels charred with #4 staves and #2 heads.

Sourced from MGP and aged at Castle & Key, EH Taylor's old haunt.  Incredibly light and delicate but such a beauty.  Caramel apple with drops of honey and creme brulee.  Little cardamom and nutmeg on the finish.  Amazing summertime sipper.
