New additive-free tequila from NOM-1605. Cooked in hornos, high altitude agaves, tahona crushed, fermented with wine yeast in a mix of American oak and Mexican pine vats, aged in a mix of ex-French white wine barrels including Bordeaux, Burgundy, and VdF Chardonnay, and bottled at 92pf.
Nose: agave, barrel notes, spearmint, caramel, butterscotch, dried fruit, orange zest, earthy, funky, pine, and honey Flavor: cooked agave, coconut, floral, notes of crème brûlée, barrel notes, cheesy funk, and light spice Finish: long, starts out with cooked agave and ends with white pepper spice
