Perhaps you like it funky but not too funky. Or you’re a fan of Jamaican rums but want a twist. That’s Dr Bird. The nose feels like you’re about to dive headfirst into a dunder pit, but the dessert wine barrel finish swoops you up at the last second. Lighter on the funk, bigger on the body than most Jamaicans, this is a Jamaican rum you can sip on its own.
