Storywood Speyside 14 Anejo Tequila

Storywood was the first to have that a-ha moment of aging tequila in used scotch barrels.  Their tequila spends 14 months in Speyside barrels, giving notes characteristic of both añejo tequila and Speyside (before the sherry finish) - butterscotch and lemon, vanilla but brûléed, and combining to create the effect of a juicy orange studded with cloves.  Really a perfect match and incredibly unique.  I'm certain we will see more and more scotch barreled/finished tequilas in the future.
