Penderyn Welsh Single Malt

A Welsh single malt whiskey - first there had been a hundred year gap for Welsh distilling until Pendyren came along - distilled only once on their unique copper pot.  Considered the "house style", aged in ex-bourbon and then finished in ex-Madeira casks, all told, rumored to be 5-6 years old.  Lots of tropical fruit, oaky vanilla, and white pepper.  A unique style from a country that is very underrepresented on the world stage of whiskies.
