Owners/producers of 3 chateaux in Bordeaux, Claire and Gonzague decided to make Sonoma (vs Napa) Cabernet for a reason... And bless them for it. It's a remarkable wine. The dark current and blackberry typical of the volcanic Chalk Hill terroir. Beautifully smooth, yet unsaymouthfeel. This wine is voluptuous, elegant with finely textured tannins. Grab this bottle when you're feeling like a Cab unlike the others in your cellar.
