Etsu Double Yuzu Gin from Japanese Asahikawa Distillery is a fresh and citrusy gin that transports the mind to the East in just one sip. It is made with the purest water from the springs of the Taisetsu Mountains and uses local botanicals such as bitter orange peel, tea, licorice, angelica, juniper and a larger percentage of yuzu than the original Etsu Gin. The color is brilliant crystal clear while the aromas are rich and intense, straight, citrusy, spicy and fresh on the palate. The yuzu/lemon note is present but falls on the floral side rather than bitter peel that affects similar gins.
