Tequila Cascahuin S.A. (NOM 1123), El Arenal, Mexico

40% ABV

 

Brick oven cooked, tahona crushed, pot-stilled, cut with deep well water, additive-free goodness from Chava at NOM-1123.

 

Aged in French oak barrels that held Momento Mori Winery's 100-pt Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.  Thirty percent tahona crushed, seventy percent roller mill extracted.  Cooked agave, chocolate, orange citrus, and that classic Cascahuin minerality.
