White rums, with good reason, have a reputation of tasting like vodka, at best of times, and cleaner at worst. But that’s not the way it has to be. Taking a majority of light bodied rum from Trinidad (Angostura is the only distillery left there…) and a little funky rum from Jamaica keeps this rum easy drinking but with flavor. It has the versatility needed in a white rum but, boy, can it make even the simplest drinks sing. It will change your Cuba Libre game.
