Codigo Anejo spends 18 months in French oak barrels previously filled with Napa Cab. Lots of baking spice, honeycomb, and vanilla - to be expected - but elements like coffee with cream and toasted almond also pop out. Complex but incredibly easy drinking. Yes, it is George Strait's tequila but one of the celebrity spirits I can endorse.
