Cambio Cellar Series El Desliz Anejo Tequila

Cambio's highly limited cask strength anejo, El Desliz.  I was already a fan of theirs with their unique reposado, aged in ex-French Chardonnay barrels.  That release gave me notes of golden raisins and elderflower, a profile I hadn't experienced in a tequila before.  The anejo is a blend of three barrels, all French oak, some ex-white wine, some ex-Cognac.  This release is actually the first run of their soon to be released regular anejo, serving as the prototype.  Biggest difference here is we're drinking 99pf compared to what will come at 92pf.  Something to keep you warm through these winter months.
